Lost the tracking number or the seller didn't send one? Don't panic — there are several ways to find your parcel without it.

Method 1: Search your emails and notifications

A tracking number is almost always sent automatically. Check:

  • The spam/junk folder in your email — messages from AliExpress/sellers often end up there
  • SMS from unknown numbers with a 10–30 character code
  • Push notifications in the AliExpress / Shein app
  • Emails with subjects like 'Your order has been shipped'

Method 2: Your account on the platform

  • AliExpress → My Orders → Order Details → Logistics
  • Shein → My Orders → Track
  • Amazon → My Orders → Track Package
  • eBay → My eBay → Purchase History → Track

Tip: On AliExpress, the tracking number usually appears in 'Order Details' → 'Shipment Information' 3–7 days after the seller confirms shipping.

Method 3: Message the seller

This is the most direct approach. Write to the seller in the platform chat:

  • 'Please send me the tracking number for my order #XXXX'
  • Sellers usually reply within 24–48 hours

Method 4: Track by name and address

Some local operators allow you to search for parcels by recipient details:

  • Omniva (Estonia) → by contract number or recipient info
  • DPD → through the recipient's personal account
  • Hermes / Evri → by address or name in their portal

If the tracking number is irretrievably lost

  1. Open a dispute with the seller: 'No tracking information provided'
  2. If the seller doesn't respond for 5+ days — escalate the dispute to the platform (AliExpress, Etsy, etc.)
  3. For insured shipments — contact the insurance company
  4. For DHL/FedEx/UPS parcels — call their support, they can locate by address

Note: Avoid ordering expensive items from sellers who don't provide a tracking number. Without tracking it's very hard to prove delivery or loss.
