AI Delivery Date Prediction: How Trackora Works

Wondering when your package will arrive? Trackora's AI delivery prediction analyses carrier and tracking data to give you an accurate arrival date.

You've added a parcel to your tracker and want to know one thing: when will it arrive? That's exactly what Trackora's AI delivery prediction is for — an estimated delivery date that automatically appears under the status of every active parcel.

What Is AI Delivery Prediction

AI delivery prediction is an automatic estimate of your expected delivery date. The system analyses multiple signals simultaneously and outputs a date range — for example, '5–12 July 2026'. This is not a guarantee, but the most likely scenario based on current tracking data.

What Data Does the Prediction Analyse

The algorithm evaluates four key signals:

  • Carrier — express services (DHL, FedEx, UPS, EMS) deliver predictably fast, enabling high-confidence predictions
  • Current status — 'out for delivery' means arrival today or tomorrow; 'at customs' signals a 3–14 day delay
  • Days in transit — the longer the parcel has been travelling, the closer it is to its destination
  • Event frequency — frequent status updates mean the parcel is actively moving and the prediction is more reliable

Three Confidence Levels

A confidence level is always shown next to the estimated date — it reflects how reliable the prediction is:

LevelWhen assignedAccuracy
HighOut for delivery, express carrier, or 35+ days in transit±1–2 days
MediumAt customs or 5–35 days in transit±3–7 days
LowJust registered or not yet shippedRough estimate

Why It's More Accurate Than 'Standard Delivery Times'

Sellers' websites quote averaged timeframes — e.g. '15–40 days'. That wide range ignores your parcel's current location, seasonal load, or customs delays. Trackora looks at real events for your specific parcel and builds an individual forecast.

Tip: Enable email notifications in your profile — you'll be notified of every status change instantly, without having to check manually.

When No Prediction Is Shown

  • The parcel has been delivered — no prediction needed
  • Status shows an error or the parcel is lost — nothing to predict
  • No tracking data yet — wait for the first events to appear

Note: The prediction is an estimate, not a guarantee. Unexpected customs delays, public holidays, or force majeure events may shift the delivery date.

How to Use the Prediction

  1. Add your parcel to Trackora using its tracking number
  2. Open the parcel card — the prediction block appears below the status
  3. Use the date range when planning — especially if you need to be home to receive the delivery
  4. Watch the confidence level: when it reaches 'High', your parcel is almost there

The delivery prediction updates automatically with every new tracking event, so the closer to the finish line — the more accurate the date range.
